Emily Karolidis

Emily Karolidis is an accomplished professional in biomechanics and product testing, currently serving as the Lead Product Testing Analyst at Nike since August 2025. Prior to this role, Emily was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact at the University of Oregon, managing external industry-funded research projects focused on footwear innovation. Emily's experience also includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oregon, where key contributions were made to biomechanics research and externally funded projects. Previous positions include Project Manager at C-Therm Technologies Ltd., coordinating industry relevant projects, and Research Assistant at ParriagGroup, undertaking qualitative data analysis for various agencies. Emily holds a Ph.D. in Human Physiology: Biomechanics and two Master's degrees in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Oregon.
