Mark Devine

Mark Devine is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in data, artificial intelligence, and software development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Data and Artificial Intelligence at Nike since August 2019, Mark has been instrumental in creating a comprehensive data and AI strategy that enhances data-driven decision-making. Prior to Nike, Mark held a Senior Director position at Johnson & Johnson, where the establishment and scaling of global software development centers across multiple countries marked a significant achievement. Mark also led cloud transformation initiatives as Director of Software Engineering at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, successfully migrating mission-critical educational platforms to AWS cloud architecture. Mark's career began in various technical roles, including applications management and software development, supported by a strong educational foundation in applied mathematical sciences and artificial intelligence from the University of Limerick and other institutions.
