Michael Murillo

Michael Murillo is a seasoned retail leader with extensive experience in coaching and management roles. Currently serving as Senior Head Coach at Nike since May 2016, Michael is responsible for developing athletes and leaders to enhance consumer experiences and drive business results. Prior to Nike, Michael held various positions at Gap Inc., including Store Director of the flagship Lincoln Road store in Miami, where significant sales turnaround was achieved. Other roles at Gap included District Visual Manager and Senior General Manager, showcasing a strong background in visual merchandising and team development. Michael began a retail career in 1990, progressing through various positions across multiple companies, ultimately building a reputation for leadership and operational excellence. Michael holds a degree from Indiana State University.
