Thomas Prahl

Thomas Prahl has extensive experience in tax management and financial optimization, having held various leadership roles since 2003. Thomas served as a Senior Associate at KPMG from 2003 to 2006 before becoming a Tax Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers until 2012. Afterward, Thomas joined AkzoNobel as the Director of Tax Americas and has held the position since June 2012. Thomas also took on the roles of Senior Director for Domestic Tax at Nike since September 2018 and Senior Vice President, Global Head of Treasury, Tax and Cost Optimization, as well as Sr. Vice President, Global Tax and Cost Optimization at Sazerac Company from December 2019 and August 2025, respectively. Academically, Thomas holds a BS in Accounting from Binghamton University School of Management, an MBA from Hofstra University, and an MS in Taxation from DePaul University.
