Tommaso Tani

Tommaso Tani currently serves as a Digital Product & Privacy Lawyer at Nike since January 2022 and has been a National Referee for the Nederlandse Basketball Bond since September 2016. Previously, Tani held the position of Privacy Counsel at EVBox, assisting in the development of electric vehicle charging solutions, and served as Privacy Counsel for Europe at Tata Consultancy Services, focusing on IT and business solutions. Tani's early career includes roles as a GDPR Consultant & Trainer at IT Governance Ltd and a Research Intern at Leiden Law School, where research on EU data protection regulations was published. Additionally, Tani practiced law at Studio Legale Mazzoni & Associati, specializing in civil law, litigation, and intellectual property. Educational credentials include an Advanced Master’s Degree in Law and Digital Technologies from Leiden University and a Master’s Degree in Law from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
