Mackenzie Tan is a seasoned legal and business professional with extensive experience in strategic roles. As the Co-Founder, COO, and Head of Legal at Nikel since September 2018, Mackenzie has been pivotal in providing end-to-end lending solutions to underserved sectors. Prior experience includes a consultant role at The Boston Consulting Group from February 2017 to August 2018 and legal positions at JONES DAY® and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, focusing on M&A, capital markets, structured finance, and securitization. Initial legal experience includes a Pro Bono Associate position at Greater Boston Legal Services and various internships, alongside academic credentials from Harvard Law School (J.D.) and the University of Toronto (B.A.).
