Tristan du Pree

Tristan du Pree is a Staff Scientist at Nikhef, specializing in particle physics within the ATLAS experiment at CERN since March 2017. Research focuses on Higgs boson studies, including Higgs decays and multi-Higgs production. In addition to research, Tristan du Pree is a Professor of High Energy Physics at the University of Twente and has lectured at TUDelft. Experience includes supervising multiple PhD candidates and students across various universities, coordinating upgrades for the ATLAS muon detector, and representing the Netherlands in the Future Circular Collider initiative. Tristan du Pree has contributed to important research projects, received notable grants, and is active in outreach efforts, engaging the public and students in the field of particle physics. Prior roles include research fellow at CERN and postdoctoral researcher at UCLouvain, with educational qualifications including a PhD from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and an MSc from Utrecht University.
