Kathy Casillas Burget

Kathy Casillas Burget is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in language services, education, and social work. Currently serving as a Bilingual Business Coach and Administrative Assistant at the South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce since March 2023, Kathy also works as a Spanish Interpreter for multiple organizations, including CyraCom Language Solutions and Niki's Int'l Ltd. Additionally, Kathy's background includes roles as a Financial Administrator at Open Door Baptist Missions and an English Second Language Teacher at Cartus: Corporate Relocation Services. Previously, Kathy held the position of Registrar at Puerto Rico Baptist College and taught English at BCM Language School. Early career experience includes serving as a Social Worker and later as Program Director at Pendleton Place, where oversight of care for vulnerable children was a key responsibility. Kathy holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Bob Jones University.
