Dr. Shogo Akagawa

Editor In Chief For EMEA at Nikkei

Dr. Shogo Akagawa serves as the Editor in Chief for EMEA at Nikkei, a position held since April 1994, where responsibilities include publishing exclusive interviews with key European and Middle Eastern leaders, such as Olaf Scholz and Christine Lagarde. Experience also encompasses roles as Senior Correspondent and Chief Correspondent, focusing on topics such as Brexit, the War in Ukraine, and macroeconomic developments.
