Shigeru Seno

Shigeru Seno is a seasoned journalist currently serving as a Senior Staff Writer at 日本経済新聞社 since April 2019. In this role, Shigeru Seno also holds the position of Editor-in-Chief of Nikkei Americas, US editor of the Nikkei, and Managing Deputy Editor of the international news department. Prior to this, Shigeru Seno worked as an Editorial Writer from April 2014 to March 2018 and served as the Chief Brussels correspondent from March 2009 to March 2012 at the same company. Shigeru Seno completed the Sulzberger leadership program at Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism in early 2023 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy from Waseda University between 1989 and 1993.
