Charitha Wickramarathne

Charitha Wickramarathne is an experienced electrical engineer currently employed at Niko Engineering Limited since April 2024. Previously, Charitha held various positions at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) from October 2012 to February 2024, including Chief Engineer - Protection (Covering) and Electrical Engineer (Protection - Generation), where responsibilities encompassed the assessment, testing, maintenance, and modification of power plant protection systems. Additional experience includes roles as an Operation Engineer at the Lakvijaya coal power plant and as a Product Support Engineer at Richardson Projects (Pvt.) Ltd. Charitha has also contributed to academia as an instructor at the University of Peradeniya. Charitha's educational background includes a B.Sc.Eng (First Class Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and ongoing studies for a Master of Engineering in Electric Power Applications at the University of Peradeniya.
