Carmen Cojocariu

Carmen Cojocariu is an experienced professional in environmental compliance and sustainability, currently working at Niko since May 2022, where responsibilities include monitoring legislation and managing life cycle assessment projects. Prior experience includes roles at IKEA from 2020 to May 2022 as a Team Lead for Sustainability, overseeing daily operations and supporting the company's sustainability initiatives, and at ARCADIS from 2016 to 2019 as Project Coordinator in the Environmental Department, managing multidisciplinary teams on various environmental projects. Carmen also held positions at Creo², Six Nations Rugby, and several locations in Brussels, starting as a waitress after completing a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture in Romania. Carmen furthered education by obtaining a Master's degree in Environmental Management from UCL Louvain, Belgium, in 2015.
