Bruce Friedrich

Bruce Friedrich is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product development, project management, and validation testing. Currently serving as Lead Project Engineer for Verification and Validation at Nikola Motor Company since October 2021, Bruce leads validation testing for heavy-duty commercial battery-electric and fuel-cell electric vehicles. Prior experience includes positions at Collins Aerospace as a Senior Project Engineer focusing on aircraft evacuation slides and rafts, and at BAE Systems, where Bruce held various roles, including Principal Engineer for body armor products and Senior Engineer for crashworthy helicopter seats. Bruce's earlier roles involved developing automotive airbag systems at Simula Inc. and leading vehicle suspension projects at Tenneco Automotive. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in International Marketing from The University of Toledo.
