Chris Sawyer

Chris Sawyer is a Senior Software Engineer at Nikola Motor Company, having joined in June 2023. Previously, Chris served as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at Beyond Imagination, Inc. from February 2020 to June 2023, where the focus was on developing advanced telepresence robotics. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Developer at Best Innovation Group from May 2015 to June 2020, involving expertise in multiple programming languages and technologies including C#, C++, Python, and ASP.NET Core. Chris also held a Software Development Internship with duties in video game development using Unity3D and was the IREC Team Programming Lead at Colorado State University, contributing to a sounding rocket project for a national competition. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, where participation in the Colorado Space Grant Consortium Robotics Challenge was also notable.
