Project Manager at NIL Technology ApS

Alireza Assar has extensive work experience in various roles related to research and development in the fields of nanotechnology and solar energy.

Starting from 2012, Alireza worked as a Research and Development Intern at Feleztaban Heat Treatment Company, where they gained skills in material standards, quality control, and heat treatment cycles.

In 2012, Alireza also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Tehran, focusing on the electro co-deposition and heat treatment of composite coatings. Alireza optimized electroplating process parameters and conducted characterization using SEM, FESEM, and XRD.

From 2015 to 2016, Alireza worked as a Research Assistant at imec, where they focused on fabricating kerf-less epitaxial silicon foils for photovoltaic applications. Alireza also worked on the fabrication of porous silicon based templates for epitaxial growth.

Alireza then joined DTU Nanolab in 2017, initially as a PhD Student and later as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Their research focused on developing silicon solar cells and interfacial layers for tandem solar cells. Alireza also collaborated with Uppsala University as a PhD Visiting Researcher to explore high bandgap chalcogenides for solar cell integration.

Currently, Alireza works at NIL Technology as a Project Manager. In this role, they lead and coordinates R&D and customer projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, deadlines, and budgets. Alireza also manages project risks and issues.

Overall, Alireza Assar has a strong background in research and development, with expertise in nanotechnology, solar energy, and project management.

Alireza Assar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microelectronics and Nanotechnology from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they obtained from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology from Politecnico di Milano, from 2013 to 2016. Before their master's studies, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Materials Engineering and Metallurgy from the University of Tehran, from 2008 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Alireza Assar has also obtained several certifications. Alireza completed the "Introduction to Scripting in Python Specialization," "Python Data Analysis," "Python Data Representations," "Python Data Visualization," and "Python Programming Essentials" courses from Coursera in October 2019. Alireza also obtained the "J.A. Woollam - CompleteEASE Ellipsometry Data Analysis" certification from LOT-Quantum Design RO in March 2018.
