Martin Balimann completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Microengineering at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2009 to 2012. Martin then went on to pursue their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Microengineering with a specialization in Applied Optics at the same institution from 2012 to 2014. During the academic year 2011-2012, Martin participated in an exchange program at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
