Melissa Galvez

Melissa Galvez is a skilled Human Resources professional with extensive experience in varied roles across different organizations. Currently serving as the Human Resources Manager for Niles Park District since July 2023, Melissa previously worked as a Human Resources Specialist at River Trails School District 26 from January 2022 to July 2023. Prior experience includes leading administrative services at Prospect Heights Public Library District from March 2018 to January 2022 and serving as a Human Resources Administrator at Sun Belle Inc. from August 2015 to March 2018. Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree in International Trade from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and is pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resources Management at the University of Illinois Springfield, expected to be completed in May 2025.
