Niles Township District for Special Education
Tempe Thomas, MHS, CCC-SLP, is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist and owner of Vox Chicago, a private practice focused on rehabilitative voice therapy and gender affirmation voice training since July 2018. With a strong background in speech-language evaluations and interventions for children through the Niles Township District for Special Education since December 2014, Tempe has also served as an adjunct professor at Erikson Institute, teaching a master's level course on child language disorders from January 2020 to April 2022. Previous roles include providing home-based speech therapy at Communicate Chicago, acting in theatrical productions, and completing various speech therapy internships where skills in assessment and intervention were honed. Tempe holds a Master of Health Science in Communication Disorders from Governors State University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Northwestern University.

The Niles Township District for Special Education (NTDSE) serves the school districts in the North Cook County, Illinois communities of Morton Grove, Niles, Lincolnwood, and Skokie. NTDSE and the Molloy Education Center are located at 8701 Menard Avenue in Morton Grove, IL. Our Vision: Empowering All to Achieve.
