Denise McElrea Cg

Denise McElrea CG(Aff) currently serves as the Head of Governance & HR at NILGOSC since October 2023. Concurrently, Denise holds the position of Board Member and Chair of the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee at Sport NI, as well as a Board Member at Ark Housing since August 2020. Previous experience includes serving as the Corporate Governance Manager at Mid and East Antrim Borough Council from October 2019 to October 2023, and Club Secretary at St Mary's Football Club until March 2023. Denise participated in the Solace Springboard leadership program in 2023 and has held various roles, including Expert Mentor at Sported and Corporate Assurance Manager at Radius Housing. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Management & Corporate Governance and an Advanced Certificate in Sport Governance and Administration.
