Raphael Fettaya

Raphael Fettaya has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Raphael is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Nilos, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft as a Data Scientist II from April 2019 to June 2021. Before joining Microsoft, they were a Data Scientist at Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. from August 2016 to March 2019. During their time at Check Point, they contributed to improving one of the company's products by enhancing the detection of malicious exe files and filtering benign PDFs using deep learning methods. Before Check Point, Raphael interned as a Data Scientist at Extreme Reality (XTR3D), where they researched deep learning methods for human frontal pose estimation. Raphael also co-founded GeniusLab.fr, where they held a position as a Cofounder from December 2014 to October 2015.

Raphael Fettaya completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Mathematics from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in 2015. Following that, from 2015 to 2016, they participated in a Fellowship program at Israel Tech Challenge in the field of Data Science & Cyber Security. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics - Data Science from Tel Aviv University, which they completed in 2020.
