NILU
Stefan Jetschny is an accomplished project coordinator and machine learning scientist with extensive experience in geophysics and data science, currently working at NILU since March 2021. Prior roles include serving as a project manager and senior research geophysicist at PGS from September 2013 to October 2020, where responsibilities included the implementation of complex research projects. Academic experience encompasses a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a visiting scholar role at the University of Washington, and a research fellowship at TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Stefan holds a PhD in Geophysics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and has a solid educational foundation in the field, including a master's and bachelor's degree from TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Throughout the career, there has been a strong emphasis on seismic processing, machine learning applications, and digital signal processing.
