Dave Olsen

Dave Olsen's work experience includes founding and serving as the CEO of Nimbl, a cloud accounting company. Dave merged and rebranded two companies, Venture CFO and Tanalytics, to create Nimbl. Olsen built a remote, worldwide team and adopted leading online accounting software. Dave also founded Nimbl Staffing to fill administrative roles for North American companies. Olsen partnered with an accountant in the Philippines to help grow their CFO and cloud accounting practice. Additionally, Olsen was a member of the Accounting Salon Cohort at Elefant Training and served on the Gusto Partner Advisor Council. Dave was the CFO of RenewableTech Ventures, GeoStrut, and Revive Sleep/Waterton Polymer Products, where they also served as the consulting CFO. Olsen was the CFO/COO of Kodiak Mountain Stone and Aquatherm North America. Dave also served as a director on the Board of Directors for 1st Choice Savings and Credit Union Ltd. throughout their career.

Dave Olsen has a strong educational background in the field of Information Systems and Accounting. Dave obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Brigham Young University in 1999. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the same university, completing it in 2005. In addition, Dave also undertook a Master's degree in Accounting at the University of Virginia, which they completed in 2006.

Dave has further enhanced their qualifications through additional certifications. In December 2010, they obtained the Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants. Dave also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy, which they obtained in June 2007.
