Joseph Wang has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joseph started their career as a Research Intern at GE Healthcare in 2008, where they designed and implemented analysis and validation systems for a bio-imaging research project. Following that, they worked as a Research Engineer at the National University Hospital System from 2010 to 2012, where they were involved in various projects related to liver tumor segmentation, abdominal aortic aneurysm segmentation and modeling, and magnetic resonance elastography.
In 2012, Joseph joined the University of Calgary as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and later became a Sessional Lecturer, teaching various courses. Joseph continued their academic pursuits as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Calgary in 2017.
In 2018, Joseph joined CardiAI.Inc as a Product Development Engineer. Joseph'sresponsibilities in this role included contributing to the development of new products.
Most recently, they co-founded Nimble Science in 2019 and served as the CEO until December 2021. Joseph also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Nimble Science, where they led the technological aspects of the company.
Joseph Wang completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering at the National University of Singapore from 2006 to 2010. Joseph then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Calgary, which they completed from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, they also attended Western University in 2008, but the specific degree and field of study for that period are unknown.
