Sabina Bruehlmann has over 15 years of experience in leadership roles within the medical device industry. Sabina is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Nimble Science, where they focus on proving out and growing the impact of their novel product through partnerships, investments, finance, operations, and regulatory compliance. Prior to their current role, they co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of Nimble Science.

Before joining Nimble Science, Sabina worked at Zephyr Sleep Technologies as the Consulting Director of Technology & Regulatory and co-founded the company, serving as the Director of Technology and Regulatory Affairs. At Zephyr Sleep Technologies, they led the research and development team in developing new technologies for sleep apnea therapy, while also overseeing intellectual property strategy and regulatory affairs.

Earlier in their career, Sabina served as the Director Partnerships and Licensing Manager at Innovate Calgary, where they managed a large intellectual property portfolio and successfully licensed technologies, particularly in sleep apnea. Sabina also acted as the Director of Intellectual Property for various start-up companies within the organization.

Sabina's experience in the medical device industry began at Visionary Biomedical Inc., where they served as the Director of Research & Development. In this role, they directed a research and development program, evaluated the feasibility of surgical technologies, and managed intellectual property contracts.

Throughout their career, Sabina has consistently demonstrated expertise in intellectual property strategy, regulatory compliance, and technology development within the medical device industry.

Sabina Bruehlmann completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University - Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, with a duration of study from 1993 to 1997. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary, where they successfully completed their doctoral studies from 1998 to 2004.
