John Alexander

John Alexander has a comprehensive work experience in the field of intellectual property and patent law. John is currently working as the Vice President and Head of Intellectual Property at Nimbus Therapeutics since 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Amgen from 2017 to 2022. Before their tenure at Amgen, John worked at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as a Senior Patent Attorney from 2009 to 2017 and as a Patent Attorney from 2006 to 2009. John began their professional career as a Patent Attorney at Edwards, Angell Palmer & Dodge, LLP from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, John has a background in scientific research, having worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Cornell University from 1999 to 2000.

John Alexander's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chemistry from Dartmouth College, which they obtained from 1991 to 1995.
