Yanbo Zhang

Yanbo Zhang currently serves as Associate Director of Biology at Nimbus Therapeutics since October 2024. Previously, Yanbo held the position of Associate Director of Research at Abata Therapeutics from July 2021 to October 2024, leading efforts in Treg pharmacology and coordinating cross-functional activities for T1D programs. Yanbo's experience includes roles as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at Abata Therapeutics and Cygnal Therapeutics, focusing on immunology, target discovery, and the establishment of various research platforms. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Cell Biology with an emphasis on Immunology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and earlier research roles at Harvard Medical School and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
