Paula Llabata Babiano, PhD

Paula Llabata Babiano, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Paula'smost recent position is as a Research and Development Specialist at NIMGenetics since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Manager at Oncogenomics from November 2020 to January 2022.

From May 2019 to November 2020, Paula was a PhD Research Fellow at Fundación Josep Carreras contra la Leucemia. Before that, they served as a PhD Research Fellow at Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute - IDIBELL from September 2015 to May 2019. Paula also had a brief experience as a Visiting Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard in September and October 2018.

Paula's work experience also includes a position as a PhD Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from March 2017 to June 2017. Paula started their professional career as a Research Assistant Graduate Student at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) from September 2013 to May 2014.

Additionally, Paula had internships at the Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Plantas, IBMCP (UPV - CSIC) in 2013 and at the Institute for Conservation & Improvement of Valentian Agrodiversity (COMAV) in July 2012.

Paula Llabata Babiano, PhD has an extensive education history. Paula began their educational journey in 2009 at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnology, completing it in 2014. Paula then moved on to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2014 to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Advanced Genetics, which they completed in 2015.

Building on their passion for biological and biomedical sciences, Paula enrolled at the Universitat de Barcelona in 2015 to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Paula dedicated five years to their PhD and successfully completed it in 2020, with their research focused on Biological and Biomedical Sciences.

In addition to their doctoral studies, Paula pursued further specialization at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) where they completed a second Master's degree in Start-up Administration in 2022.

Continuing their educational pursuits, Paula also undertook a Master's degree in Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at INESEM Business School starting in 2020, which is ongoing as of now.
