Jessica Pochiero-Mercurio is a seasoned Women's Footwear Designer with extensive experience in the fashion industry. Currently leading design and development at Nina Footwear since January 2017, Jessica is responsible for trend research, original design concepts, and ensuring high-quality execution throughout the development process. Prior to this role, Jessica designed for Delman, overseeing seasonal concepts and material selection, and contributed to Cole Haan Kids as a Children's Footwear Designer at BCNY International. Early career roles included internships at Calvin Klein and Westport Corporation, where responsibilities included trend research and technical specifications. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in Accessories Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and received training at Ars Sutoria.

Nina has been designing elegant footwear and accessories in New York City since 1953. Brothers Mike and Stanley Silverstein, Cuban emigrants, set up shop in a small loft on Prince Street, naming the company after Stanley’s first-born daughter. Today the family owned company has grown into a leading design house and manufacturer of footwear, handbags, bridal accessories, jewelry, and girls shoes under the Nina label.
