Zachary Gates

Zachary Gates is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in sports media, currently serving as an Olympic and Paralympic Games Reporter at Nine since November 2020. Prior to this role, Zachary worked as a co-host for The Crowd Catch, where a diverse range of sports were discussed and featured special guests. Zachary has also held various media positions, including Media Coordinator for Sydney Swans Ltd, where written content was produced for multiple platforms and on-camera presenting was executed. Earlier in the career, Zachary gained experience with Capital Radio Network and several internships in media that solidified a robust foundation in sports journalism. A Bachelor of Sports Media was earned from the University of Canberra, further enhancing the expertise in the field.
