Cara Waters

Cara Waters is a seasoned journalist and editor with extensive experience in journalism and business media. Currently serving as City Editor and Technology and Startups Editor at Nine since October 2015, Waters has also held the position of Small Business Editor at Fairfax Media, overseeing content for multiple major publications including The Age and Sydney Morning Herald from October 2015 to April 2020. Prior to that, an editing role at SmartCompany was held from March 2012 to October 2015. Waters' illustrious career began with freelance journalism from August 2009 to October 2015, contributing to notable outlets such as The Guardian and Time Out. Additional reporting experience includes a position at Financial Times and legal roles at Linklaters LLP and Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
