Jonathan Porter

Jonathan Porter is an accomplished content editor with extensive experience in journalism and media advisory roles. Currently serving as a Content Editor at Nine since November 2020, Jonathan specializes in editing thought leadership and immersive advertising content for the Australian Financial Review and other Nine Publishing mastheads. Previous roles include Senior Contributor at National Geographic, Senior Contributor in business, banking, and innovation at The Australian Financial Review, and Senior Media Advisor for the Australian Banking Association. Jonathan has also held positions such as Media Advisor for the NSW Government, Investigative Reporter at The Australian and News Corp, and Founding Production Editor for The Daily Telegraph. In addition to practical experience, Jonathan contributes to academia as a lecturer in journalism at the University of Technology Sydney.
