Andy Woodley

Andy Woodley has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and information systems. Andy currently works as an Engineering Manager at Nine23 Ltd since March 2023. Prior to that, from December 2015 to April 2023, they were a Senior Information Systems Engineer at the Ministry of Defence. In this role, they were responsible for managing and training a team of 25 engineers and deploying secure strategic C4IS systems. Andy also handled the development, configuration, deployment, and support of secure C4IS systems, as well as administration of core infrastructure and end-user devices.

Before their role at the Ministry of Defence, Andy worked as a Communications Systems Engineer from December 2011 to December 2015. During this time, they gained experience in planning and implementing communication systems and providing support for C4ISR equipment and infrastructure.

Prior to that, from September 2008 to October 2011, Andy worked as a Communication Systems Engineer, where they were involved in the maintenance, repair, and expansion of a strategically important and geographically large area radio network. Andy also contributed to the installation and support of C4ISR equipment and infrastructure.

Andy's earlier experience includes working as a Radio and Communication Systems Engineer from May 2006 to September 2007, where they were responsible for maintaining and repairing tactical radio systems equipment. Andy also conducted maintenance, repair, and inspection of strategic trunk network installations.

Andy'sinitial work experience in the field includes the role of a Radio Systems Engineer from September 2002 to July 2005. In this position, Andy was involved in the fault diagnosis and repair of tactical communication systems and equipment, as well as managing faults and their progress on C3 systems for multiple platforms and users.

Andy Woodley attended the Defense College of Communication and Information Systems from 2007 to 2008, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In addition to their education, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in May 2022.
