David Arfin

David Arfin has a diverse work experience in the clean energy sector. David has served as the Co-Founder and CEO of NineDot Energy, a laboratory for clean energy business model innovation since 2014. In 2015, they co-founded Ener-Pacte, a company focused on clean energy solutions. David also co-founded SolarVento in 2013.

Additionally, David has been involved in the clean energy industry as an investor and advisory board member. David has served as a Powerhouse Ventures Investor since 2019, supporting innovative software solutions for global energy and mobility systems. David has also been an Advisory Board Member for TIGI Solar since 2016, a company aiming to provide environmentally-friendly heat solutions.

Furthermore, David has held advisory and board member roles in other clean energy companies such as Everyday Energy Co., WattzOn, eMotorWerks, and United Wind Inc. David has also been part of the U.S. Speaker Program for the U.S. Department of State in 2017.

David Arfin completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science at UCLA from 1979 to 1983. David then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Public Policy Analysis at Claremont Graduate University, graduating in 1986. In 1989, David attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, earning their MBA by 1991. Additionally, they participated in a Junior Year Abroad program specializing in Middle Eastern Studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1981 to 1982.
