Emma Hanby has work experience in various roles in financial planning, paraplanning, administration, and accounts. Emma is currently working as the Financial Planning Lead at Ningi since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Paraplanner at Landmark IFA Ltd from April 2021 to December 2022. Earlier in their career, they held positions as a Paraplanner and Senior Administrator at Oakhouse Financial Services Limited from September 2015 to April 2021. Emma also worked as an Accounts Team Member at Bulley Davey from January 2014 to September 2015. Emma began their career as an Audit & Accounts Trainee at Saffery Champness from August 2012 to December 2013 and as an Accounts Intern at Saffery Champness from July 2011 to September 2011.

Emma Hanby completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Durham University from 2009 to 2012. Emma also obtained A Levels from The King's School, Peterborough from 2007 to 2009. In 2014, they earned a MAAT & AATQB degree from AAT in the field of Accounting.

Additionally, Emma Hanby has obtained several certifications. Emma received a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and a Diploma in Financial Services from the Chartered Insurance Institute in June 2019, as well as a Certificate in Financial Services from the same institution in August 2018. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in March 2023.
