Loong-Wei Ding (Ding)

Loong-Wei Ding is a highly experienced Technical Director and Lead Programmer at Ninja Theory since December 2014, contributing to projects such as Hellblade II and Project Mara. Previously, Loong-Wei held the position of Senior Programmer, playing a key role in the development of Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and Hellblade VR Edition. Earlier experience includes serving as Technical Director at Pencil Test Studios, Senior A.I. Programmer at Jagex on Transformers Universe, and Senior Programmer at Ninja Theory where foundational mobile division work was established. Loong-Wei began a career as a Software Engineer at Agilent Technologies, focusing on research and development projects related to IVI drivers. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Game Programming from the University of Hull and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University.
