Tess Kendall

Tess Kendall has a diverse work experience in the music and entertainment industry. Tess started their career at ITV as a wardrobe assistant for The Bill in 1997. Tess then transitioned into the events industry, working as an artist liaison and dance tent coordinator for GLASTONBURY FESTIVALS LIMITED from 1998 to 2000. Tess continued their event management career at 580 Limited from 2000 to 2001 and then joined Ministry of Sound as an event manager from 2001 to 2003. Tess further advanced their career by becoming the head of events and artist manager at Defected Records from 2003 to 2008. Tess then served as an artist and label manager at !K7 Music from 2008 to 2013. Currently, Tess is working at Ninja Tune, where they initially held the position of senior project manager from 2013 to 2023. In 2023, they were promoted to head of marketing operations at the same company.

Tess Kendall completed a short course in Contemporary Collage at the University of the Arts London in 2016. In 2011-2012, they also attended a short course in the History of Film at BFI, offered by Birkbeck, University of London. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2000, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Costume for the Performing Arts from the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. Lastly, they attended Heaton Manor Comprehensive from 1988 to 1995; however, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
