Doreen S H Tan

Doreen S H Tan began their work experience as a Pupil-in-Chambers and Para Legal at Raja, Darryl & Loh in 2010. Doreen S H then transitioned to the role of Legal Associate, specializing in unit trust and investment funds, from 2012 to 2015. After a gap year pursuing a Masters of Law at the University of Durham, UK, they returned to Raja, Darryl & Loh and continued as a Legal Associate until 2017.

In 2018, Doreen joined ABB as a Legal Counsel Specialist, focusing on Malaysia. Doreen S H later became a Legal Counsel Specialist for Malaysia and the Philippines from 2019 to 2019.

In 2019, they moved on to Bursa Malaysia as a Senior Manager in Participants Enforcement (Regulation) until 2021.

Currently, Doreen is working at Ninja Van as a Legal Manager starting from June 2021 and was promoted to Head, Legal (MY) in July 2022.

Doreen S H Tan obtained a Master's Degree in LLM in International Trade and Commercial Law from Durham University in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law from Multimedia University from 2007-2010. Additionally, they have certifications in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Lean Methods Group in 2019 and completed various LinkedIn courses in 2016, including "Betty Liu on Career Success," "Gretchen Rubin on Creating Great Workplace Habits," and "Influencer Interview: Oprah Winfrey."
