Bárbara Teixeira

Bárbara Teixeira is an experienced localization and language specialist with a diverse background in the gaming industry. Currently serving as an Associate Localization Producer at Nintendo since September 2013, Bárbara has held various roles, including Bilingual Product Specialist and Language Specialist at Parker Staffing. Prior to Nintendo, Bárbara worked at Z2 as a Language Specialist, focusing on Brazilian Portuguese localization and QA for mobile games. Experience at Valve Corporation as a Portuguese Representative involved significant contributions to the Brazilian Portuguese gaming community, including the introduction of local language support and payment methods on the Steam Store. Additional previous roles include Portuguese Bilingual Video Game Tester with Aerotek, intern positions in design and journalism, and education credentials from the University of Washington and Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
