Lucas E. Budny, PG, CHG, is an experienced hydrogeologist currently serving as a Project Hydrogeologist at Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants since November 2016, where Lucas E. focuses on innovative solutions for groundwater issues. In addition, Lucas has contributed as a Subject Matter Expert for the State of California since August 2016, working on the development and evaluation of professional licensing tests for geologists and hydrogeologists. Previous roles include Senior Project Hydrogeologist at Fugro Consultants, where Lucas E. combined expertise in groundwater resources with environmental site characterization, and Project Geologist at Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises, overseeing groundwater investigations and aquifer testing. Lucas began their career at Geomatrix Consultants as a Staff Hydrogeologist, gaining extensive field management experience. Lucas E. holds a Master’s degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Georgia Southwestern State University.
