Alexandru Pavelescu

Research & Development at NIPNE

Alexandru Pavelescu is a prominent researcher in the field of Nuclear Physics and Nuclear Engineering, currently holding a position in Research & Development at the Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH) since October 2009, contributing significantly to Romania's scientific output. Prior to this, Alexandru was a Post Graduate at Politehnica University of Bucharest, focusing on PhD research and serving as a Teaching Assistant from November 2003 to May 2009. Additionally, Alexandru’s experience includes two research fellowships at ENEA, where responsibilities involved computational analysis for radioactive waste management and safety assessments. Alexandru holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and a Baccalaureate in Informatics from National College Ion Creanga.
