Cosmin Ilie is a Postdoctoral Fellow at North Carolina Central University NASA-CADRE, focusing on cosmic microwave background (CMB) anomalies and their interpretation within anisotropic and inhomogeneous cosmologies since March 2013. As a Scientific Researcher III at the Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering since September 2012, Cosmin Ilie contributes to advanced research in the field. Previous experience includes serving as a Visiting Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where Cosmin Ilie proposed methods to constrain modified gravity theories and dynamic dark energy using galaxy cluster data from October 2011 to May 2012, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan in 2011, investigating the detectability of Supermassive Dark Stars with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). Cosmin Ilie earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Michigan.
