Yu Shimizu

Assistant Vice President at Nippon Life Benefits

Yu Shimizu has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Starting in 2006 at Nippon Life Insurance in Japan, they served as an Assistant Manager at the Hakata Branch for two years, where they conducted research and analysis on the regional insurance market. From April 2008 to May 2008, Shimizu worked as an Assistant Manager in the Human Resources Development Office at Nippon Life in Tokyo. Yu then transferred to the Nippon Life New York office, where they were a Manager from May 2008 to March 2009, conducting research on the U.S. market. Since March 2009, Shimizu has been working at Nippon Life Benefits as an Assistant Vice President.

Yu Shimizu attended Honshu-Ichinoseki High School from 2000 to 2002. After completing high school, Yu Shimizu enrolled in Kagawa University from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics, majoring in economics.
