Mariano Gugliotta

Mariano Gugliotta is an experienced artisan and industry professional in the field of knife making and bladed weapons. Currently serving as a host on the History Channel's "Desafio en el Taller" since June 2023, Mariano has also been a judge for multiple seasons of "Desafio sobre fuego" with History Channel Latin Amer LLC since March 2018. As an advisor for Nippur Media, Mariano contributes expertise to various projects. In addition to their roles in media, Mariano co-founded a prominent Spanish-speaking forum dedicated to cutlery and bladed weapons and has organized key events such as the Buenos Aires Knife Show. Mariano's craftsmanship dates back to January 2000, with a focus on forging Damascus steel and handcrafted knives, alongside teaching classes for beginners to advanced learners. Mariano's work in the artisanal knife-making field was also featured in the Canal Encuentro program, highlighting the art of knife craftsmanship.
