Faisal Sahak

Faisal Sahak has a background in software engineering. In 2017, they began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Softchoice, where they collaborated with the software development team to execute effective strategies to attract a large number of clients. Faisal also built predictive models with Decision Trees to track users up to 5 URLs ahead and carefully documented technical workflows and knowledge in a private wiki. In 2019, they took on the role of Junior Software Engineer at BookSteam, where they designed, developed, implemented, and tested new software features, designed and developed internal business systems/applications, systems interfaces, and database functionalities, and translated business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Niricson.

Faisal Sahak has a diverse educational background. Faisal obtained a Web Development Certificate from Lighthouse Labs in 2015 and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Langara College in 2017. In 2019, they graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Liverpool, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Google, DataCamp, and DeepLearning.AI in 2021 and a Diploma in Web Development from Lighthouse Labs.
