Sankalp Mathur

Sankalp Mathur is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and credit strategy. As the Co-Founder of Niro since March 2021, Sankalp has demonstrated entrepreneurial expertise. Prior to this role, Sankalp served as the Head of Credit Risk at MoneyTap from May 2018 to June 2020, overseeing credit risk for a cash credit line product. At KredX India, from November 2015 to April 2018, Sankalp was the Chief Risk Officer, managing risk and collections for platform investors. Experience at Citi from January 2012 to November 2015 as Vice President involved risk strategy management for retail partner card business initiatives. Additionally, Sankalp held a managerial position at Barclays Bank, focusing on Basel model monitoring and risk controls from November 2010 to January 2012. Sankalp holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, earned from January 1999 to January 2003.
