Amit Shah

Director at Niron Magnetics

Amit Shah has been a director at Niron Magnetics since 2018. Prior to that, they were a senior engineer at GE Global Research from 2005 to 2018. Amit's research focuses on magnetic materials for power generation, distribution, and conversion technologies. Amit has also served as a Principal Investigator in three federal R&D contracts and has contributed to the company's critical material strategy in the area of rare earth supply risk mitigation. Amit has a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
