Heather Johnson

Heather Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Heather began their career at Ansercomm as a Staff Accountant, where they handled record keeping, payment processing, and account reconciliation. Heather then worked at EJA & Associates as an Accountant, overseeing general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll.

Heather later joined Garden State Tanning, Inc as a Senior Accountant, where they served as a temporary Accounting Manager and supervised the Accounts Payable Department. Heather also dealt with cash-related matters with the parent company.

Heather then made a transition to the healthcare sector and joined Independence Blue Cross as a Project Team Lead and Corporate Data Warehouse Supervisor. In this role, they wrote and reviewed business requirements, led the development of a reporting tool, and coordinated tasks for server upgrades.

As a Senior Business Analyst, they contributed to cross-functional initiatives and acted as a liaison between various departments. Heather later became a Strategic Development Manager in the Medical Management department, followed by Director of Medicare. In the latter role, they inspired their team to follow new initiatives, improved client satisfaction through regular documentation updates, and spearheaded cross-functional initiatives.

Heather further expanded their professional experience at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as a Medicare Operations Leader. In this role, they played a crucial part in launching a new Medicare Advantage plan, expanded Medicare Advantage knowledge to colleagues, and optimized coworker knowledge and time management.

Heather's next endeavor was at Beacon Health Solutions, where they served as the VP of Business Solutions. Here, they contributed to the development of business strategies and oversaw solution implementation.

Currently, Heather is working at nirvanaHealth | RxAdvance as the Chief Compliance Officer. Heather previously held roles as the VP of Compliance and Director of Compliance. In these positions, they directed program teams to revise operational activities for compliance, reviewed state statutes and regulations, and innovated compliance programs.
