Nenad Pavlovic has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Nenad started their career in 1993 as the Chief Engineer for Thermal Power Plants at Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS), where they worked for nearly a decade. In 2002, they became the Director of the Energy Efficiency Agency of the Republic Serbia (SEEA) and held that position until 2006. After that, Nenad worked as the Deputy Director at South East Europe Consultants (SEEC) for three and a half years, managing thermal energy and energy efficiency projects. In 2010, they became an Independent Consultant for EE and RES, providing freelance consultancy on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the Director at Creative Energy Efficiency Solutions (CEES) Ltd, working on strategic consultancy projects in the energy sector. Nenad joined NIS Gazprom Neft in 2012 and held various roles, including Director of the Division for Expertise and Control of Investment Project Implementation, and Head of the Investment Projects Support Department at the Energy Block.
Nenad Pavlovic obtained their Diploma engineer degree in the field of study in the Thermal Energy department from Belgrade University, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, between the years 1978 and 1983. Additionally, they earned a Magistar of technical sciences degree in the same field of study from the same university and department between the years 1996 and 2000. Nenad Pavlovic also obtained a certification as a Licensed design engineer for thermal energy facilities from the institution Licen, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
