Scott is responsible for guiding the development and implementation of the analytics that support NISA’s portfolio construction and investment risk management activities. Through his role, Scott works with our Portfolio Management, Investment Strategies and Information Technology teams to build enterprise-grade analytic solutions.
Prior to NISA, Scott worked for a systems integrator, at which he helped clients such as the U.S. Department of the Treasury migrate enterprise workloads to the cloud. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Vice President in the Research Department at Smith Breeden Associates, a mortgage-focused asset management firm. Scott graduated from Duke University in 2002. There, he earned a quintuple major in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, and economics and graduated summa cum laude. He also earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and was named a Fuqua Scholar.
