Muhammad Umer Nawaz

Muhammad Umer Nawaz is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in maintenance management within the power generation sector. Currently serving as Deputy Manager Maintenance at Nishat Chunian Group since May 2019, responsible for the maintenance of a 46MW coal-fired power generation plant. Prior to this, Muhammad held various roles including Deputy Manager Mechanical and Assistant Manager Maintenance at Ibrahim Fibres Ltd., managing maintenance operations for a 21 MW coal-fired power plant. Muhammad's career also includes roles as a Research Assistant at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, a consultant for NSB, and a Management Trainee Officer at Interloop Limited, demonstrating a strong foundation in both practical engineering and project management. Muhammad holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
